"Hands down one of the best experiences of my life, traveling the country was amazing. I also met some people who I would call friends for life. Working with ACE was really fufilling, it is a really unique job and the kids are great and you get to brush up on your history." - Halley M., 2016
"The NHB internship provided a fantastic opportunity to experience the natural beauty and diverse urban areas of the United States. I was inspired by the contestants' dedication and knowledge, and made lasting friendships with my coworkers. Visiting schools across the nation was also quite valuable for my professional development as an educator. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone with a sense of adventure, a high level of energy, and a love of history!" - Sarah P., 2015
"The idea of travelling to new places with such a great group of people in order to put on national events for numerous groups of ecstatic children of all ages could not have been scripted any better. If you accept this opportunity, if you try all the food and Carpe all the Diems, you'll have something to look back on for the rest of your forever-changed life." - Kyle H., 2016
"From walking through the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to bungee jumping in the state of Washington it was truly an incredible adventure. Although you are traveling in a group, you really do have the freedom to make the trip your own. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone with a strong desire to travel." - Kat M., 2015
"While other internships bound you to a desk and hold you to a mundane routine, I was awarded the opportunity to sleep in a new city every night and be exposed to people and places I might never have gotten to experience otherwise. You learn things about yourself, like how quickly you can adapt to new surroundings. And when your brain is stimulated by all these new experiences, it forces you to think on a broader scale." - Christine M., 2014
